Eddy Current Separator
Eddy Current Separator is an advanced non-ferrous metal sorting unit which is capable of separating clean non-ferrous metals from others.
It can be applied to the sorting of scrap steel crushing tailings, electronic waste crushing materials, waste plastic door and window crushing materials, waste car crushing materials, and non-ferrous metal sorting of household waste.
Description
The eddy current sorting machine is mainly used to recover non-ferrous metals such as copper and aluminum from industrial waste and household waste. It can be widely used in environmental protection fields such as waste treatment and recycling of waste electrical appliances, as well as material processing in the non-ferrous metal processing industry. It has excellent sorting effect on various non-ferrous metals, strong adaptability, and reliable mechanical structure; It has the characteristics of strong repulsion (adjustable) and high sorting efficiency.
The non-ferrous metal sorting machine consists of two parts: the main body of the sorting machine and the control cabinet; The main body mainly consists of the selection assembly, drive motor, frame, and cover. The sorting assembly is the core component of the equipment, consisting of a rotating drum, a material conveying system (including a material conveyor belt, a conveyor belt driven drum, and a reduction motor).
Application scope:
- 1. Scrap steel crushing plant - sorting non-ferrous metals from scrap steel crushing tailings.
- 2. Automobile dismantling and crushing plant - sorting non-ferrous metals from crushed materials.
- 3. Electronic circuit board recycling plant - recovers non-ferrous metals from waste electronic circuit board fragments.
- 4. Glass recycling industry - removing aluminum bottle caps and aluminum or copper alloy parts from broken glass materials.
- 5. Pre sorting and treatment of household waste - sorting aluminum cans, bottle caps, copper and aluminum alloy parts from household waste.
- 6. Resource utilization of household waste incineration residue - sorting non-ferrous metal particles from household waste incineration residue.
- 7. Waste paper recycling industry - sorting non-ferrous metals from papermaking residues.
- 8. Other occasions for separating non-ferrous metal fragments from non-metallic substances.
Working principle:
The material is fed by a vibrating screen and transported by a belt to the magnetic roller. The internal magnetic roller runs at high speed, and the conductor (non-ferrous metal) in the material generates an induced current in a high-frequency alternating magnetic field. The magnetic field generated by this current is opposite in direction to the original magnetic field, generating a strong repulsive force on the non-ferrous metal and instantly ejecting it from the material to achieve separation.
Process flow
After two stages of shredding and crushing, scrap metal is separated into iron, plastic, and non-ferrous metals through magnetic separation, and then separated from plastic through eddy current separation
